DescriptionFive sided with hinged door. Four sides (incl. door) open, back side a single sheet of tinplate with handle soldered to it. Strip across top and bottom of other four sides, with thin vertical strips at corners. Door at one side is made of four strips soldered at corners, edges rolled around wire. Door hinged from wire, curled latch on other side. Bottom flat; flanged and soldered to sides. In center of bottom is candle socket with slot down one side. Slightly domed top is flanged and soldered to sides. Two piece chimney: bottom ring with slots cut into it; and domed piece made by cutting wedges from circle of tinplate and bending down strips and soldering inside ring. Simple ring handle held on with screw at top. Clips at top and bottom of each side inside to hold glass or mica, now missing. Remains of black paint.
