DescriptionApproximately square lantern with mica panes (badly stained). Bottom flat with candle socket soldered to center. Sides of bottom turned up, soldered to vertical corner pieces, which are soldered to flat top piece with turned down edges. Circular hole in center of top. Soldered over hole is arched piece with open ends at sides. Soldered over. Larger arched piece with open ends at front and back. At top is wire handle held on with tinplate strip and solder. On sides and back are sheets of mica held in place by tinplate strips around four edges. Strip only on side seems to indicate lantern was opened by sliding up front pane. Electric candle installed, wire fed through baffles and hole at top. One tin rectangular panel has detached.
