DescriptionWooden sconce. Bracket nailed together: bottom to back, sides into back and bottom, front into sides and bottom. Back tapers toward top with slight curve, top rounded. Hole at top for hanging, large hole near center. Upper edges of back chamfered. Inside edge of front piece beveled. Wood stained red, varnished? Candle holder consists of flat bottom with candle socket soldered in center. Two corners of bottom cut at angles, all edges cut raggedly. Candle socket has slot. Holder sits loosely in bracket, easily removed. Tinplate once painted black. Wired for electric candle: small hole drilled through back piece through which wire is fed. Wire taped to back of bracket.
