DescriptionCircular base, turned on lathe, one incised ring, molded top edge. Vertical upright iron strip inserted through base. Three twists at center of upright; formed into hook at top. Resting on base, with slot around upright, is a five-sided sheet iron drip pan with edges turned up. Horizontal arm with candle socket is riveted to top of upright. Socket open at bottom. Riveted to base of upright is spring consisting of an iron strip, curved at bottom, which fits inside candle socket, presumably to keep pressure on candle and adjust candle height. Hook with curled tip riveted to inside of spring. Four rubber feet added to base. Candlestick wired for electric candle: hole drilled through base for wire, which is clipped to spring.
