DescriptionPair, H515 and H516. Stem hollow cast in two pieces, brazed together (seam not visible), finished on late. Bottom of stem spread inside top of base. Base circular with scalloped edge and moldings. Alternate large and small scallops (6 ea.). Turnings on stem: reel, spreading to long straight section, ring with 10 scallops, another long straight section, drip pan at top with 10 scallops in edge. In center of each straight section is a pair of incised rings. Slot cut in lower straight section for ejector slide, still in place. Slide has iron rod inside stem with curved iron piece as spring, brass knob fitting through slot in stem, and brass disk at top that slides up and down candle socket. Wired for electricity by Russell Kettell, probably around 1930: wire through stem, electric socket set into candle socket. Electric candle made by the Electric Candle Company.
