DescriptionCandlestick (a) with snuffer (extinguisher) (b), with a large brass pan for base and handle for carrrying. Base circular with broad curving rim and molded center. Rim rolled over iron wire. At rim is handle -- a ring with a plate riveted to rim of base, finger hold and thumbpiece at top, and slot at front for snuffer. Stem attached to center of base with iron piece and brass rivet under base. Stem appears to be sheet brass formed into tube, single seam brazed (visible). At bottom of stem molded brass piece, at top brazed to drip pan. Two sets of incised rings (6 each) on stem. Slide ejector with knob fitting through slot in side of stem, connected to disk in candle socket. Snuffer a simple cone, brazed on one seam; edge molded, with handle that fits into slot on handle, and into small slot at base of stem.
