DescriptionBrass chamber candlestick. Base is circular pan with molded center, and curved rim, with edge rolled over iron wire. Handle, a brass ring with fingerhold and thumbpiece, is riveted to rim. Stem attached to center of base with an iron fitting underneath, and rivet of sorts through stem (?). Stem either hollow cast or sheet brass formed into tube. No seams visible. Finished on lathe. Three sets of three incised rings on stem. Stem straight with drip pan at top. Ejector inside stem --brass knob which slides in slot inside of stem attached to an iron spring, which probably had brass disk at top at one time, now missing.
