DescriptionTinplate reflector oven (or spit oven) with hinged door and open back, spit missing. Front and bottom cylindrical, flat ends. Front and bottom of four pieces flanged together, opening for door cut from top two pieces. Door one piece, edges rolled around wire, hinged at top, latch with curled end at bottom. Two legs at front bottom, one now missing. Two handles at top front. Handles and legs are strips, soldered on. One side has hole and spout at bottom, and hole and washer for spit at center. Other side has hole at center for spit, with slot to back, and 12 holes around hole for adjusting spit. Triangular reinforcing pieces at upper corners on back. Top, bottom, and sides rolled around heavy wire at back; wire looped at top of sides and extends down to form rear legs at bottom, with bottom wire coiled around them. Molding across top of front, and around door.
