DescriptionIron, tin, pine, stained red. Punched-hole patterns in tin; turned posts. Wood frame enclosing tinplate box with hinged door, tinplate pan for coals inside (removeable). Frame stained red. Bail handle on frame. Box flanged and soldered together, sides ot two pieces of tinplate, opening for door cut from one. Three groups of punched holes between frame members on top of box. Sides and door of box have pattern of punched holes: two concentric circles of large holes, heart of small holes inside this and in each corner, large hole in very center. Pan is round, with bottom flanged to side, and handle riveted on. Fuel for footwarmer assigned H2204.1a.
