DescriptionBrass pan with hinged lid and long handle. Socket for handle is riveted to side of pan. Riveted to top of socket and rim of lid is hinge. Pan has slightly rounded lower edge and sides. Lid slightly domed. Rims of lid and pan rolled around iron wire. Pan has incised spiral lines on outside bottom and inside. Lid has incised circles on top, inside which is stamped design: four points done with small flowe stamp, between each point a fern like motif with two leaves and three circles at tip. Handle is turned on lathe with baluster turnings at top, and bulb at socket. Handlw has graining done with brown and red stain in swirls. Varnished. Marks inside pan.
