DescriptionCherry. Square top, Chippendale candlestand. Three reverse-curved legs, with snake feet with sharp corners and dovetailed into base of center shaft. Tops of legs and bottom of shaft chamfered and notched. Shaft turned, with straight base, urn or cup shape, and long tapering section. Top of shaft fits into horizontal brace which is screwed into bottom of top. Brace beveled on ends, with slight chamfer on edges. Top is of two pieces of wood joined together. Top square, with straight, molded edges. Varnished.
