DescriptionMahogany, cherry. Queen Anne/Chippendale "candle stand" or "light stand" with dished round top. Three reverse-curved legs with "snake" feet with slight pad, all dovetailed into base of central shaft. Bottom edge of legs at top and bottom of the shaft chamfered with curved. Shaft is turned with straight base, urn or cup shape, with long tapering section. Top is a single piece of wood with raised molding at edge.
