DescriptionCandlestand or light stand. Cherry, maple (?). Square top Chippendale candlestand. Three reverse curved legs with "snake" feet with slight pads, all dovetailed into base of central shaft. Shaft turned, straight base, urn or cup shape and long tapering section. Top is a single piece of wood, with rounded corners and serpentine sides, edges molded. Y shaped iron brace nailed into legs and base at bottom.
