DescriptionDocument from Derby and Jarvis Family documents (collection 2023.18.1), a collection of about 100 deeds and mortgages to land in Concord, from 1777 to 1909. Folded document, written in ink on the front is, "DEED / Francis Jarvis / to / Francis Jarvis Jr." Below, in pencil, is "Home Farm / Buttrick Lot etc. / (1) cont. / May 25 10 AM." Written on the inside are the details of the deed, "Know all Men by these Presents, that I Francis Jarvis of Concord in the / County of Middlesex and Commonwealth of / Massachusetts remain (illeg) / in consideration of the sum of love and good will and one dollar / paid by Francis Jarvis Jr of said Concord / Gentleman / the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, bargain, / sell and convey unto the said Francis Jarvis Jr his / heirs and assigns forever a certain farm in the northerly part / of said Concord on which said Francis Jarvis Jr. now lives..."
