DescriptionDocument from Derby and Jarvis Family documents (collection 2023.18.1), a collection of about 100 deeds and mortgages to land in Concord, from 1777 to 1909. Folded document, written in ink on the front is "Deed / Nathan Hosmer to Francis Jarvis / Rec'd 29 Decem 1812." Written by hand, document reads, "Know all men by these presents, that I / Nathan Hosmer of Concord in the County / of Middlesex & Commonwealth of Massachusetts, / Cabinet maker in consideration of twent four dollars/ paid by Francis Jarvis of said Concord, yeoman / the receipt whereof, I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby, give, grant, sell and convet unto said Jarvis a... a certain piece of wood land situated in / the southerly part of said Concord..." Signed Nathan Hosmer, Mary Parkman, William Parkman, Patty Hosmer, and Sam'l Bartlett.
