DescriptionDocument from Derby and Jarvis Family documents (collection 2023.18.1), a collection of about 100 deeds and mortgages to land in Concord, from 1777 to 1909. Folded document, written in ink on the front is, "Francis Jarvis / to Edward Jarvis." At bottom in pencil is written, "May 25 10 A. M." The document reads, "Know all Men by these Presents, / that I Francis Jarvis of Concord in / the County of Middlesex and Common -/ wealth of Massachusetts yeoman / in consideration of the sum of love and good will and one dollar / paid by Edward Jarvis of Louisville in / the State of Kentucky (illeg) / the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, bargain, / sell and convey unto the said Edward Jarvis his / heirs and assigns forever a certain pair of Meadow / Lands situate (sic) in the middle of this Concord / on the road leading to (Hunt's?) Bridge..." etc. Signed at the bottom by Francis Jarvis, Francis Jarvis Jr., and John Keyes (?) on July 27, 1839.
