DescriptionDocument from Derby and Jarvis Family documents (collection 2023.18.1), a collection of about 100 deeds and mortgages to land in Concord, from 1777 to 1909. Folded document. Written in ink on the front is "Deed / Jonas Lee to / Francis Jarvis / Rec'd 24 April 1800." Document details the sale of land to Francis Jarvis, "Know all men by their (illeg) that I, Jonas Lee, of Concord in the County of Middlesex and Commonwealth of Mass / achusetts (illeg) in consideration of the sum of four hundred / and eight dollars paid me by Francis Jarvis of Concord aforesaid / (illeg) the accept whereof I do hereby acknowledge do hereby / give grant sell and convey, with the reservations and incumbrances / herein after mentioned, unto the said Francis Jarvis a certain / tract of land situated and lying and being a little more than one / quarter of a mile southeasterly of the Meeting House in said / Concord containing about five acres..."
