DescriptionDocument from Derby and Jarvis Family documents (collection 2023.18.1), a collection of about 100 deeds and mortgages to land in Concord, from 1777 to 1909. Folded document, written in ink. Front panel reads, "Hagger to Jarvis / Rec'd 30th June 1807." Inside panel reads, "Boston 30th June 1807 Received and Entered / with Suffolk Deeds Lib. 222, fol. 105 / Wm. Alline Reg." Document reads, "…Benjamin K. Hagger of Concord, in the County / of Middlesex and state of Massachusetts, Mathematical / Instrument Maker / in consideration of five thousand dollars / paid by Francis Jarvis of Concord in said County and state of Massachusetts as aforesaid, yeoman / the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, sell and convey unto the said / Francis Jarvis, a sertin (sic) peace (sic) of Land situated in Boston - /..." etc. Signed by Benjamin Hagger and Abiel Heywood.
