DescriptionDocument from Derby and Jarvis Family documents (collection 2023.18.1), a collection of about 100 deeds and mortgages to land in Concord, from 1777 to 1909. Folded document, written in ink. Middle panel reads, "Deed / Silas Piper, Junior / & / Sylvia S. Piper / to / Francis Jarvis / Rec'd 18th February 1819". Corner panel reads included signature of Samuel Bartlett, Reg., and that "Middlesex of Cambridge 18th February 1819 received and entered / in the registry of deeds book 227 page 514." Document reads, "...We Silas Piper, jun. of Acton in the County of Middlesex / yeoman, and Sylvia Sacharrissa Piper, wife of the said / Silas, in her own right - / in Consideration of two hundred & sixty eight dollars / paid by Francis Jarvis of Concord in said county of / Middlesex, yeoman / the Receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, sell, and convey until the said / Francis Jarvis his heirs and assigns a certain tract of wood / -land situate in the northerly part of the town of Lincoln..." etc. Signed by Silas Piper Jr., Sylvia S. Piper, and Abiel Heywood.
