DescriptionDocument from Derby and Jarvis Family documents (collection 2023.18.1), a collection of about 100 deeds and mortgages to land in Concord, from 1777 to 1909. Folded document. On front in ink is written, "B. 4412 / Francis Jarvis & al. / $1200 __ 5 __ $60. __ / (illeg) 1.80 / M(illeg) M. F. Ms. Office August 31, A.D. 1841 / At meeting of Directors, Voteel Shalthe (?) / within policy be confined to Francis / Jarvis, the present owner of the property herin insured. / Attest. N. Brooks Sec.ty." Inside details the Middlesex Mutual Fire Insurance Company policy where, "Francis Jarvis & Francis Jarvis Jr. / of the Town of Concord in the County of Middlesex a member of the Middlesex Mutual Fire Insurance Company, incorporated the 3d day of March A. D. / 1826, hath agreeably to the Rules of said Company, given their Note of Hand, of even date herewith to said / Company, for the sum of sixty dollars and - cents, / as Deposite Money, to be liable until a written surrender of this policy should be lodged with the Secretary, and / also bound and obliged themselves their Heirs, Executors, Administrators and Assigns,..."
