Description1995.20.154b: A long, narrow, rectangular pasteboard box with lid. The exterior is made to simulate the look of wood. The interior is lined with pink paper. The box is accompanied by 1995.20.154a: Ivory and silk folding fan. The fan is composed of 18 carved and incised ivory sticks with the two end guards embellished with silver paint. The sticks support a pleated white silk mount. The silk has a scalloped lace edge and lace cut outs at center, painted white flowers with silver paint highlights, and applied sequins. At the base is a brass "U" shaped ring.
