DescriptionA folding fan composed of carved and incised, natural wooden sticks, and a pleated, silk leaf. The sticks extend beyond the leaf, which created an inset-like panel. The leaf is pale green silk, painted with cranes and branches. At the heado f the fan is a "U" shaped metal loop and a pink/ coral colored tassell. On the verso side of the silk is a stamped 3 stars design and the text "Made in China". The fan is accompanied by a rectangular cardboard box, stored in CS, Box CS-044. The box features a deep, separate lid with a clear plastic window at the top. The sides of the lid are covered in foil paper, striped red, blue and silver. The lower part of the box and interior is white paper.
