DescriptionWax over papier-mache (head and limbs), papier mache body, cotton (?) dress. Wax over papier mache doll with voice box. All original condition, including wig and clothes. Finely molded and yellow complexioned face, with painted lips and eyebrows. Blue glass moving eyes and an open mouth with teeth. Blonde mohair wig tied to brown cloth foundation. Curly hair pulled back with two blue ribbons showing her molded ears. Upper torso is wax over papier-mache; lower torso is papier mache; central portion of torso is cloth covered voice box with pull strings on left side. Cloth hung, wax-dipped arms and legs (?). Elbows, hands and fingers defined in arms; knees, ankles and toes in legs. Lower legs hung from upper legs by stockings, stocking sewn to upper legs. White cotton dress with blue trim. Dress cut off the shoulders with short sleeves, tight fitting waist, with four buttons in back. Skirt has box pleated ruffle on bottom and an overskirt which is full in back. White wool petticoat with embroidered blue scalloped trim. White cotton drawers with five tucks at knees. White cotton stockings and pink kid shoes with ankle strap and red button. Long pink hooded wool cape lined white silk. Wool embroidered with white silk thread in a grape vine pattern.
