DescriptionBisque head, cloth stuffed body, composition arms, silk dress. Bisque swivel-neck head of "French fashion" type mismated with cloth-stuffed body (M.M.) Blonde human (?) hair wig twisted into bun on top of head. Blue stationary glass eyes. Delicately painted features: blonde feathered eyebrows, long black upper and lower eyelashes, pink lips with darker pink outlines. Finely molded and pierced ears. Small waisted cloth-stuffed body, jointed at knees and hips with shaped feet. Composition lower arms with molded hands. Dark blue silk dress with long sleeves, fitted waist and long full skirt with small train. White lace at neck and cuffs and blue braiding around bottom edge of skirt and two rows in center panel. Five silver buttons on back of dress. White cotton short sleeve shift; one wool petticoat with two rows of embroidery along hem; white cotton petticoat with lace edge; white cotton pantaloons, tucked around bottom; white cotton knit stockings. Brown leather shoes with black heels and gold metal buckles holding leather bows. Off-white hat with ribbon around band and two streamers and lace around brim.
