DescriptionStockinet and cotton. Chase doll with brown eyes and blonde hair. Stockinet head and cloth-stuffed body. Face finely molded with pudgy cheeks. Handpainted features: pink lips, rosy cheeks, brown eyes, blonde eyebrows and blonde textured hair. Molded, applied ears. Body of light brown sateen with makers mark on back. Arms jointed at shoulder and elbow - joints made by stitching through an unstuffed area. Stitching between fingers; thumb separate. Arms painted flesh color to above elbow. Legs jointed at hips and knees; feet and toes defined. Legs also painted to above knees. Wearing a blue dress with white striped trimming (looks somewhat like a sailor's outfit). Previously wore long white cotton dress with high neck and lace ruffles at cuffs and neck. Smocking in center front. Two buttons at back. White diaper pinned in front with saftey pins. White cotton knit band of fabric wrapped around torso and safety pinned twice at back. [
