DescriptionPapier-mache, wood, kid, wool. "Milliner's model". Papier-mache head and shoulders with molded hair and features. Black painted hair parted in middle with curls around neck. Painted features: blue eyes, pink cheeks, red lips. White kid body. Wooden limbs with little definition, only thumb on hand. Feet turned out. Flat slippers painted green. Bands of red paper at joints of wooden limbs and kid body. Scottish costume. Red plaid wool dress cut off shoulders with tight waist and elbow length sleeves. Red plaid satin ribbon over one shoulder, tied at waist on opposite side. Wool drawers of same fabric as dress just cover the knees, yet are longer than dress. Three brass buttons on outside of each leg. Red ribbons wrapped around lower legs and feet.
