DescriptionFemale milliner's model. Papier mache body, with leather bonnet stitched on. Mannaquin is made of at least two pieces of Papier mache, joined together with wire or staples, originally covered with papier mache. Papier Mache is painted with face and clothes. Face has black hair, blue eyes. Narrow torso has painted yellow dress or shawl with black blouse. Back of model is open at torso. Large dent at back of right "shoulder." Papier mache is cracked and missing in many places. Some cracks held together with metal staples or wire.
