DescriptionBisque head; composition (?) torso and upper limbs; wood lower limbs; cotton dress. Bisque headed doll with open mouth showing four teeth. Brown stationary glass eyes, thick brown feathered eyebrows and exaggerated black upper and lower eyelashes. Long blonde mohair wig with bangs and tied at sides with two blue bows. Pierced ears. Socket head mounted on molded composition torso. Ball and socket jointed body, elastic strung. Upper limbs and ball joints are wooden lower limbs are molded composition [sic]. Body painted flesh color. Forearm and hands are one peice, fingers slightly cupped. Molded toes and toenails. Thin red lines painted between toes and toenails painted pink. White cotton dress with small blue geometrical pattern. Fitted waist, gathered skirt, long puffy sleeves with lace edged cuffs. Top of bodice is white tucked cotton edged with lace, as is the high neck. White cotton petticoat edged with embroidered eyelet. White short-sleeved cotton camisole with lace around neck and sleeves. White cotton drawers also with lace around hem. Brown leather boots, flat heeled with four buttons up the side. Wooden circle on brown ribbon hangs around her neck - one side of circle is reading 10:03; the other says "Blanche". In pink cardboard box with "Cooley's/ Est. 1860/ Boston/ Concord Hingham/ Wellesley" on it.
