DescriptionChina head, kid body, wood limbs. Early china head mismatched on milliner type body. China head with brown painted eyes, black eyebrows and black molded hair. Hair with center part, ten vertical curls and brown overtones. Three sew holes in front and back of breast plate. Coarse string ties head to kid body. Body with small waist and exaggerated shoulders and hips. Wooden limbs with little modeling. Crudely carved hands; pegged feet with green painted slippers. Red paper bands mask joints between kid body and wooden limbs.
