DescriptionWood, cotton. Late Queen Anne style doll. Only wooden head and torso are original. Legs and wig are missing. Arms are white cotton attached to the chemise. Head has crudely carved mouth, nose and eyesockets. Set-in glass eyes are black and white, pupil-less. There is a carved hole in the top of the head- to attach the wig- and a small nail protruding from the side of the head from which to hand an earring. The nail on the other side of the head is missing, leaving a hole. Head has been repainted flesh color. Jacket and skirt of dark blue printed cotton. design of red and white cherries. Two large blue buttons on front of jacket. White cotton chemise and petticoat.
