DescriptionTall clock. Cherry case; enamelled iron dial. Dial is square with straight top broken by a half-circle. Within the arch is painted the figure of a huntsman with blue coat and buff colored trousers tucked into high boots. Spandrels are decorated with painted sprays of flowers. Second-hand dial above the two key-holes. Below is a calender attachment in a semi-circular slot. Hood has a pediment conforming in shape to the top of the dial, and surmounted by a simple scrolled fret and ball brasses. Moldings are a fillet, a wide cove and a narrow one. There are two fluted columns set in brass on either side of the dial. Case is chamfered about one third of the way up and has quarter-round fluted columns set into the chamber. Base is molded and set on an ogee bracket feet.
