DescriptionTall clock. Case (NS, E). Enamelled iron face, with sprigged decoration, probably made by Osborne and Wilson, Birminham, Engl. (see F711). The spandrels are painted with flowers and leaves; there is a rocking ship mechanism above. The face and hood are in the rectangular form with straight top broken by a half-circle, usual after ca. 1710. The face is flanked on either side by plain turned columns set in brass. The top is surmounted by a fretted cresting and brass ball finials. In a door is a diamond-shaped glass through which the pendulum may be seen. Stands on ogee bracket feet.
