DescriptionEuropean beech, cane. William and Mary caned daybed, originally with adjustable back. Six legs and two back posts. Legs and bottom of back posts have carved scrolled feet, and vase turnings. Six elaborately pierced and carved side stretchers, with foliate C scrolls.
