DescriptionBeech (European), maple, walnut, ash, cane. Pair of William and Mary caned, high back side chairs. Largely altered. Continuous molding around crests, vertical back rails and lower back rails, with caning. Both chairs have front legs with vase turnings & Spanish feet, though different. F107 has front stretcher with bulb and ring turnings and turned side and median stretchers. F108 has turned side stretchers, but no median stretcher. Both have identical turned back stretchers. Refinished, wax over natural wood.
