DescriptionDocument from Derby and Jarvis Family documents (collection 2023.18.1), a collection of about 100 deeds and mortgages to land in Concord, from 1777 to 1909. Folded document confirming the exchange of land between John Minot and Thomas Hubbard. On the front is written, "John / Minot to / Thomas / Hubbard / Deed / Rec'd 4 December 1804." On the left flap is written, "Middlesex (illeg) Cambridge 4 December 1804 / Received and entered in the Registry of Deeds / Book 150 page 209 / Attn Sam Bartlett Reg." The document itself reads, "Know all men by these presents, / that I John Minot, of Chelmsford in the county of Middlesex & Com / monwealth of Massachusetts, Gentleman... For and / in Consideration of the full and just sum of eighty two dollars and fifty cents, / paid by Thomas Hubbard (illeg) of Concord in the County of Middlesex aforesaid / Gentleman... / the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, sell and convey until the saud / Thomas Hubbard (illeg) and to his heirs and (illeg) forever / a certain tract of land, lying and being in the northwesterly part of / the town of Lincoln..."
