DescriptionMaple, rush. High banister back arm chair with rush seat. Back posts straight turned, plain below arms, vase and columnar section at back, flat finials. Flat, uncarved crest rail with scalloped top and arch at center of bottom. Plain lower back rail. 4 vertical banisters, 2 banisters to each side of arch in crest rail. Front posts runed with rings below seat, vase above, tops fit into arms. Arms plain, slight curved, simply scrolled hand rests, block over front posts. Two plain, turned stretchers each at sides and back. One stretcher at front, with two bulb-like shapes and ring at center.
