Description1995.20.81a: A folding fan with mother of pearl frame and a leaf made of pleated silk net and lace. The leaf is embellished with painted flowers and a female figure wearing a lilac dress. The leaf is also embellished with sequins. At the head of the fan is a gold colored metal loop and a white silk tassel with decorative knotwork. The fan is accompanied by 1995.20.81b: paste board box.
