DescriptionA folding fan composd of 16 mother of pearl sticks and a pleated silk leaf. The leaf is printed with an image of a sleeping woman, lying across the lap of a man (Sleeping Beauty?). Painted by A.G. (Alice Gay Enthoven) and mounted in Paris. The top edge of the leaf is trimmed with white feathers. At the base of the fan is a metal loop and a white silk tassel.
