DescriptionBamboo and paper fan. Concord commemorative fan. Bamboo and paper folding fan. The fan features plain, bamboo sticks and a pleated paper leaf. The leaf is cream colored and embellished with painted white and brown flowers. The fan also features printed images of the Old Manse. Brown string used as a decorative element on the exterior. Brass ring. Brown cotton tassel. Fans .13-.16 located in a box marked "Five commemorative fans from Concord, MA 1900, 125th anniversary of battle of Concord, beginning of the revolutionary war."
