DescriptionBamboo and paper fan. Concord commemorative fan.The fan features plain, bamboo sticks and a pleated paper leaf. The leaf is beige and grey, embellished with painted white and yellow dogwood blossoms as well as printed images of Merriam's Corner, the Minute Man Statue, and the Old North Bridge. Brown string used as a decorative element on the exterior. Brass ring. Brown cotton tassel. Fans .13-.16 located in a box marked "Five commemorative fans from Concord, MA 1900, 125th anniversary of battle of Concord, beginning of the revolutionary war."
