DescriptionMade like a patchwork quilt except that the two bottom corners are cut out and shirred (ruffled) to fit corner posts of a four-poster bed. Pieces of cotton are cut into triangles which are pieced together to make a square. Squares are then pieced together and the whole top is then quilted to unbleached musling back and bound together with brown printed tape. Colors in the bedspread are predominately brown and pink prints with blue, red, green, and lavender prints used also. Shirred cut out corners with 5 opening. Pattern: a simple Quilt Block (Broken Dishes).
