DescriptionChromolithograph on paper. Embossed and colored alphabet cards, doubled for standing. Each card has a "letter is for ___" phrase on the card that continues onto back. Minimal scenes are depicted behind each letter with full scenes corresponding to the letter's phrase on the back of the card. Letter "A" has the maker's marks. (front) Letter O fades from yellow to orange to red with red lines dividing yellow and red on the left side of the letter. Bare branches behind the letter. "O stands for the Owl,/ who looks very wise," (back) Brown and white Barn owl sitting on branch. A yellow crescent moon behind the owl, through tree branches. "Don't you think, in school,/ he'd win every prize?"
