DescriptionChromolithograph on paper. Embossed and colored alphabet cards, doubled for standing. Each card has a "letter is for ___" phrase on the card that continues onto back. Minimal scenes are depicted behind each letter with full scenes corresponding to the letter's phrase on the back of the card. Letter "A" has the maker's marks. (front) Letter N fades from blue to red with red lines on the left side of the N with flowers and branch behind the letter. "N for the Nest which/this little bird made,/" (back) Brown bird with rest breast standing on the edge of a bird nest with 4 eggs. "And in it, when finished,/ speckled eggs laid."
