DescriptionChromolithograph on paper. Embossed and colored alphabet cards, doubled for standing. Each card has a "letter is for ___" phrase on the card that continues onto back. Minimal scenes are depicted behind each letter with full scenes corresponding to the letter's phrase on the back of the card. Letter "A" has the maker's marks. (front) Letter F fades from salmon color to red with red stripes dividing the two colors. A fence and branch behind the letter. "F for the Fox- if he/ comes near the Farm," (back) brown fox jumping over a broken fence. "Hens, ducks, and chickens/ are filled with alarm."
