DescriptionChromolithograph on paper. Embossed and colored alphabet cards, doubled for standing. Each card has a "letter is for ___" phrase on the card that continues onto back. Minimal scenes are depicted behind each letter with full scenes corresponding to the letter's phrase on the back of the card. Letter "A" has the maker's marks. (front) Red letter I with brush and branches behind. "I for the Ibex,/ who lived far away," (back) Brown ibex standing on hay in a cage. "But in the Zoo/you can see him to-day."
