DescriptionChromolithograph on paper. Embossed and colored alphabet cards, doubled for standing. Each card has a "letter is for ___" phrase on the card that continues onto back. Minimal scenes are depicted behind each letter with full scenes corresponding to the letter's phrase on the back of the card. Letter "A" has the maker's marks. (front) Red letter L in front of broken fence. "L stands for the Lamb,/ who cries out "Baa-baa!" (Back) A white lamb stands in front of a fence in the grass. "One day he'll be big,/ like his wooly Mamma."
