DescriptionPine, nails. Cut from one piece of wood. A stylized peacock ("cock", or rooster); head at one end with beak and comb, body in "s" curve of varying width, with rounded end. Hole through wood from bottom to top for post at bottom of curve. At one time painted white, painted red over this. Remains of red paint on edges, both sides of head, and one side of body. Beak once painted black.
