DescriptionWood. Single block of wood, curved on both sides with rounded ends. Flat bottom and top. In top are drilled 18 holes to about 3" depth. Painted black with gold eagle with spread wings on front covering the entire convex side. Eagle clutches arrows in one foot, and holding banner which runs across the bottom of the side in its beak. On banner, in red? or brown? is date, 17 on one side, 76 on the other. Varnished.
