DescriptionPaintings and Drawings from Deacon White's Desk. Artist unknown. Colorful watercolor or guache painting of a morning glory flower. Petals are deep dark blue, with green centers, a smaller blossom not yet opened with pink stripes on the side. Green stems and leaves. Written lightly in pencil in bottom right corner reads, "Morning Glory." An embossed stamp in the top right corner depicts an eagle holding a bannder, with arrows and branches in the talons. Above the eagle reads, "D. Felt & Co." and below reads, "New York."
