DescriptionCast iron pan with three cast iron legs and fittings for bail handle applied after casting. Pan relatively shallow, with flat bottom and rounded sides, and lip at edge. Legs rounded on outside, groove on inside, taper toward tips. Long gate mark on bottom of pan. On either side of pan is a fitting for the handle. Handle is bail with tapered ends hooked through holes in fittings. On one side on inside of each fitting is an extra protrusion of iron, purpose unknown. All painted thickly with some sort of black substance (?).
